Wikigogy is C L O S E D Wikigogy saw little action. So I closed it. It had been an interesting two years with some spurts of generous content writing from a handful of people. However, most months had seen no activity except spam bot fighting. Wikigogy -- Closed as of August, 2008 -- was a networking Web site for teachers of English as a second or foreign language. Site may be removed soon. For now to fight spam efficiently Wikigogy will periodically be reverted to its August, 2008 state. Category:Local might not scale well; once it has hundreds of city's and other pages listed in it it may be useless. When and if that happens we may turn Category:Local into a redirected to just an ordinary page Local that explains about setting up and using local Citypages on Wikigogy. --Roger 04:09, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

Category:Local serves in the early stages of Wikigogy's existence as a crossroads where Wikigogy members around the world can see where we as a group have interests and over time see these interest grow. This is a compelling reason to me to have Category:Local for now even though it might scale into an oxymoron once Wikigogy is much bigger.
