[edit] Preferences

Under your preferences > Recent changes tab, you can change the following preferences for how Recent change page looks to you when you are logged in:

Titles in recent changes: 50 <------- Roger likes to up this to 900

[_] Hide minor edits in recent changes <--- Roger recommend you don't check this

[x] Enhanced recent changes (JavaScript) <--- Roger recommend this

[edit] Difference (diff)

You can compair differences between two versions of a given page side by side, by clicking its diff link on Recent change page.

Shows what was added or deleted; very useful collaboration tool!

← Previous diff | Next diff → links move you forward or back in the page's history, one version at a time

datestamp links to version of the page as it was after that edit

username links to user who submitted the edit

diff is available in Recent change and in each page's history tab

[edit] History (hist)

Jumps to the page's version history (list of recent edits to the page)

History pages list recent edits to an individual page, with links to

username links to person who submitted the edit

datestamp links to version of the page as it was after that edit

(cur) links to difference of that version and the curent version

(prev) links to difference of that version and the previous version

(o) radio buttons allow you to diff between versions you select. Try it.

[edit] Revert a page

To revert a page to an earlier version

1. browse to the version you want using the page's own history page, described above
2. click 'edit' tab on that version, edit the page or not
3. put a meaningful note in the edit summary, and click Save page

Done. That version becomes the new current version of that page.

Admins, don't confuse above with the for Admins only Rollback feature for fight spam.

Related changes in toolbox at left sidebar links to a list of recent changes in pages the current page links to.
