Search
From Wikigogy
The Search box is on every page in the left column near the bottom. Use Search to find specific things. Try using the Keywords.
- Only pages containing all your search terms will be shown. Add words to narrow your search, remove words to broaden it.
- Only exact matches will be found. Searching for "teacher" will NOT return instances of "teach" and vice versa.
- Search is case insensitive. Capital letters and lower case letters look identical to the Search engine.
- Keywords. Adding Keywords will refine your search.
- Common words like "this" "they" and "from" are ignored.
- Words of 3 characters or less are ignored.
- Punctuation is ignored, except underscore (_), single quote ('), and hyphen (-)
- Hyphen (-) makes negative search terms, eg -roger subtracts pages containing Roger from the results, but only if you precede the hyphen with a space.
- Sorry, there is no way to search for exact sequences of words (quotes are ignored).
- Google will search it's Wikigogy index for you (which is usually a few weeks old though) if you type your search into their search box like this:
site:wikigogy.org something something
(no space after the colon; replace something something with your search terms)
