Wikigogy is C L O S E D

Wikigogy saw little action. So I closed it. It had been an interesting two years with some spurts of generous content writing from a handful of people. However, most months had seen no activity except spam bot fighting. Wikigogy -- Closed as of August, 2008 -- was a networking Web site for teachers of English as a second or foreign language.

  • Site may be removed soon. For now to fight spam efficiently Wikigogy will periodically be reverted to its August, 2008 state.
  • Comments about the site closure are welcome on the Main page.

Details of how the star keyword works

[edit] Initial rating

Put the star keyword you feel a page deserves at the top of its keyword list. Example

This wiki markup

[[Keyword]]
* 3star
* other keywords
* grouped in lines of related keywords
* like
* this

looks like this

Keyword
  • 3star
  • other keywords
  • grouped in lines of related keywords
  • like
  • this

[edit] Star change

If you feel a page is incorrectly rated

  • change its star keyword to whatever you feel it should be, and
  • explain why at top of it's Talk page in a Star section, something like this on the page's Talk page:
==Star==
* 4star -- seems like a 4star page to me now, very helpful and well written. --~~~~

If others already have rate change notes there, add yours above theirs, most recent at top. An informal poll is achieved this way.

Keep in mind that the quality of a wiki page changes over time, as it is edited. So the most recent opinions are likely the most relevant. If over a dozen ratings have been left delete some from the bottom. Please sign your rating with a full date signature --~~~~
