There are quite a few English teaching jobs in the area

Downtown are various schools, a couple of universities and some private language schools

• TPR [1] with five locations is one of the larger ones
• Global Language Village (GLV) [2] teach by immersion, both English and Mandarin
• Fountain [3]

North of town on the coast are several universities

• Beijing Normal U, Zhuhai campus has several programs that each hire their own foreign teachers

  Foreign languages department [4], have an odd pay system and scrimp on benefits, but basically OK. A dozen or so teachers.

  Foreign trade college, preparing kids for study abroad; recruiting by U of Memphis, US [5]

  United International College, a joint venture between BNU and Hong Kong Baptist U [6]

  Design school, joint venture with a German school [7], no English teachers

• Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai campus
• Harbin Institute of Technology, Zhuhai campus
• Zhongshan University, Zhuhai campus
